Arrived Zurich and were picked up by Professor Jose Romero—off we went to Appenzelle

Homes with individualized paintings

Welcoming sign with our names on it! And tour of the hofweissbad facility. Interesting concept of rehab hospital, hotel and spa. Successful model for 30 years. Great care for post op patients, excellent food and daily therapy
The clinic in the hotel/rehab/spa. They have a doctor on duty 24/7. Addition of new wing with more rooms and rehab space recently
Outside space for inpatients very nice. They stay for 2-3 weeks after surgery for recovery. Patients in general healthy ASA 1 category.

As usual beautiful woodwork and art. Old books and a mummy from Egypt.
Dinner in a cool restaurant. Old train station. Residents and faculty. Sub specialties in knee, shoulder, sports, tumor and trauma.

OR day! Picked up at 640 and off to the OR for a variety of complex cases with Charly and Prof Jost

Tour of the new hospital. Expansion of adult and pediatric care and research

Off to Zurich where we are met by Dr med Lucas Jud at the train station. We walked to the hotel Stella and were off to dinner.

Incredibl lenresearch by Laki on corrective osteotomy for malamutes fractures of tibia and femur. Modeling and guides done in-house with engineer collaborations.
